Rock Hound

**We will be starting up again on September 18. If you are interested in attending, join us Sunday morning for worship and talk to one or both of our coaches.**

WHY THE NAME?

Rock hound, by our definition, is something/someone who seeks out precious stones in the rough. We pulled the term from 2 Peter 2:4-6,

“As you come to him, the living stone–rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to Him, you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. For in scripture it says: “see, I lay a stone in Zion, a chosen and precious corner stone, and the one who trusts in Him will never be put to shame.”

Were seeking out people in the midst of whatever rough they’re going through in hopes to show them their worth in Jesus. And in that, God is using this ministry as a Rock Hound.
